JAG - Van Buren held its 2023 Initiation and Installation (I & I) Ceremony at The Landing on October 25, 2023. The ceremony was a time to recognize the students' commitment to the program and their commitment to make a successful path for themselves as they move toward their future.
The students were celebrated for their hard work and dedication, and they were officially inducted into the JAG program. Special guests at the ceremony included Ms. Amy Jackson, Van Buren School Superintendent; Mr. Larry Peterson, HS Principal; Mrs. Rebekah Lefler, HS counselor; Ms. Theresa Smith, JAG-Missouri Director; Mr. Jeff Berry, Southeast Regional Director JAG-MO; Mr. Jeremy Bedell, who spoke words of motivation; and the parents of the students.
JAG - Van Buren would like to thank everyone for the support and encouragement that is provided for its program. The school would also like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Della Bedell, Mr. Jeremy Bedell, and all of the staff at The Landing for a great meal and beautiful location for the ceremony.
