The Van Buren R-1 School District is proud to announce the publication of its Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP) on their website for the community to review. As a participant in the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6), the district is dedicated to promoting continuous improvement of their school and preparing students for life beyond high school.
The CSIP is a comprehensive plan that was developed with the input of parents, faculty, and staff, based on a thorough review of relevant data. It includes targets, strategies, activities, and a time schedule to support student achievement and growth, as well as eliminate any gaps among groups of students. The staff, students, and community members involved in the process were: Seth Weeks, Asia Been, Clay LaRue, Amy Jackson, Larry Peterson, Shelley Dougherty, Brandy Tripp, Marilyn Sanders, Rebekah Lefler, Amber Beecher, Jami McEntire, Jennifer Reed, Samantha Majors, Peyton Padovano, Ashley Freeze, Becky Allen, Lisa Burke, Lana Hager, Sarah Hawkins, Misty Burke, Velvet Ricker, Darren Pryor, Alan Snider, Tiffany Gossett, Amy Baldridge, David Baldridge, and Mark Norris.
MSIP 6 places a strong emphasis on individual student growth and effective practices that lead to healthy school systems. By participating in this program, Van Buren R-1 School District is demonstrating its commitment to providing students with the best education possible and preparing them for success in the future.
We encourage all members of the community to review the CSIP at https://www.vanburen.k12.mo.us/page/csip2023 and share their thoughts and feedback with the district. The district looks forward to continued collaboration and communication with the community as we work together to achieve our goals and improve the educational experience for all students.
